Need to be able to print out data from an AB 1200

Looking at useing the com port. Dont want the expence of WonderWare of RS View.

Does someone sell a cheap package for this ? $200-$300 ?

If not...

Is there a easy way to print...

I need to print something like the values of F8:0 - F8:30

Ability to format or dump to Excell would be great !

Do you have RS Linx Single Node or RS Linx Professional? If you do, then you can create a DDE topic to Excel and print values.

With a little bit of Excel scripting you can make excel grab the valus from the PLC, then print a report say every eight hours for each shift.
