Wich PLC is in your project?

PMCR
Simulator will only work for CJ1, CJ2, CS1, CP1H, CP1L. Not CQM1, C200H, HS, etc.
Also, which version of CX Programmer (CX Programmer Jr, CX Programmer in CX One)?
You may want to look at this. http://forums.mrplc.com/index.php?showtopic=11917&hl=

The latest update of CX-Simulator through online update system shows the issue described in above topic as fixed. I would have to check the version number in the office.

Try to update CX-Simulator through auto update system. Alternatively, look in above mentioned topic for a possible fix.

Predefinito="C:\\Programmi\OMRON\CX-Server\KickEngine.exe"

there is, as attachment, a file to repair the registry key
