I have created an NS-Runtime project in CXD, selecting System version 8.0

I have installed NS-Runtime V1.1, but this comes with system version 7.0.

So when trying to download, I get the following error:

However, when I open the transfer program (CTRL+I) and try to set the mode (upper left) to "Select System", it gives me the error:

So do I need a newer NS-Runtime version or what? shrug.gif

Hi PDL,

Yes I've had the same thing. I think the current NS-Runtime does NOT support version 8 firmware. Presumably this will be upgraded in a future Autoupdate... For the moment you have to build for V7 !!

Yikes w00t.gif ranting.gif

Would have been nice to get a notification when selecting NS-Runtime & V8.0 > "be sure the NS-Runtime system version is equal to the selected version, NS-Runtime system version is not upgradable"
Luckily I only have some template graphics done so I will create a v7 project and start copying/pasting....
Aargh!!

I guess for V8 we will have to wait for NS-Runtime 1.2?

My always helpful Omron support team has set me up with a latest update that should get NS-Runtime to v8.0.
Fingers crossed will try tomorrow...
