hi,
recently i was given an omron PLC CQM1 CPU41 and a copy of cx programmer v4 but when i tried to create a new program with cx, i couldnt find the plc model cqm1 in the device type list.

I am new to plc so be easy on me if this is a stupid question.

Are you sure? I don't believe they are sorted on alphabetical order rather on CPU step family order.

Are you sure? I don't believe they are sorted on alphabetical order rather on CPU step family order.

hi, i have attached a screen shot of it....under the list...i can't find CQM1 in the device type list. Am i doing something wrong?

You were given a copy of CX Programmer Jr. which only supports the smaller Omron PLCs.

Hi Jay, thanks for the info. Yup i asked for a full version, now i can see cqm1.
