Do you want help with MOV or CMP?
If MOV, MOV #1234 D1000 will move the number 1234 to D1000
If CMP, I usually use the symbol compares such as > D1000 #0 will turn on the attcahed bit when D1000 has a value greater than 0.

This is really simple stuff quite frankly - read the manual!

Moreira,

What PLC are you using? The older ones like the C200H style use the CMP (020) Instruction, while some of the newer ones like the CS and CJ series can also use an instruction that is named with the symbol of the comparison you would like to use (<, >, =, etc.). I have included a sample of the CMP (020) Instruction note that not all of those bits are available in all PLC's. If you could let me know what type of PLC you are using it would help.

Hello Bobd understand your explanation ... thanks... in fact use the manual is an option ... but ... I am a rookie in programing Plc's ... and sometimes the basic questions appear.

As you know everything in life there are various levels of knowledge ... my knowlege in Plc's is still basic.

Bobb and PDL ... thank you for your help

Merry Christmas for everybody
