I looks like the manufacturers of the equipment may have deliberately tried to disguise the plc. The customer has a few different bits of kit, and all have the same controller. They all have a tape over the name. It looks like someone has peeled this one off, to expose where the name has been scratched off.
someone at plcs.net has identified it as a CTC control model.

Hi,
Can anyone help. I have been asked to support a machine built by the Oyster Bay Pump Works Inc.
the machine is around 8 years old.
Below is a picture of the plc, it looks like the manufacturers name has been deliberately removed. Can anyone help identify it please.

It looks familiar, is this a test or did you not "erase" the identification from the front?
Is it a Honeywell, or maybe Cutler-Hammer?
If Paul C a s w e l l is still around, you may want to ask him.
There may be ID inside also.
