Is there a method that can be used either within CX designer or by modifying the Project files to add/copy new Data Block Groups that would include the Record Field Settings.

My application has 500 Data Block Groups each with 20 identical fields.
The CSV file names are FILE1.CSV, FILE2.CSV............etc.
Copying the CSV files is not a problem but there doesn't seem to be a fast way of copying each DataBlockGroup Setting.

Seems that in CX Designer it is necessary to repeat the Field Names, Field Addresses and Field Data Format for each and every Group, there is no way to copy a Group!! VERY LABORIOUS TO MAKE 10000 entries when a simple copy/paste would work.

Any suggestions/ideas how to achieve this would be most welcome. blink.gif blink.gif

When you create blocks, CXD creates DBlk000.cfg, DBlk001.cfg, DBlk002.cfg etc...
Set up the first block in detail and create the others but don't add detail.
Exit CXD and copy the first .cfg file and rename to replace the others that you want the same.
All you should then have to do is go back to CXD and point each block to the correct .CSV file.

I've only done this once before on a smaller scale but it may work for you.
