Full Version: Basic Info on CJ1M Memory Setup
Hi, I've just gotten into looking after a new machine that has a CJ1M-13 and am wondering about the memory configuration. I've not had any experience with OMRON PLCs but I've had lots of experience with Allen Bradley/Rockwell Automation PLC2, 5, SLC500, and Control Logixs 5000. How's the memory setup on these processors done with instructions and data table?
If you are going to be working on a new PLC platform I would suggest your first course of action is to download and study the manuals.
For the CJ series you will need:-
W340 Instruction Set.
W393 Operation Manual
W394 Programming Manual
These are all available at the Omron Knowledge Center http://www.omron247.com/doc/pdfcatal.nsf
Use the Search and type the required W*** then download.
For answer to your specific question the memory layout is covered in SECTION 9 of W393.
