Hello!

I want to send a sms alarm from iFix scada with Flacom gsm modem. Can anybody explain, how can I do that in iFix.

You may use U.C.ME-OPC software. It connects to iFix via OPC or DDE. You may use the cellular modem to send alarm messages. You may also use your cell phone to send commands to iFix. For example, you may query or change tag values remotely using a simple SMS messages.

You may use U.C.ME-OPC to send SMS alarms from iFix using a GSM modem. Have a look at Control See. A fully functional evaluation version can be downloaded.

You can also send SMS commands from your cell phone to change or query tag values, acknowledge alarms and more...
