Is there a way to change the screen saver in a panelview 1400e?

If I understand you question properly you would like to maybe add a *bmp file and use it for a screen saver. I an not absolutely sure on the 1400e but on a 1000 you can. I don’t have access to PanelBuilder right now but I believe you enter the project properties and there is a standby option that will allow you to select a *bmp. I’ll check it out when I can and repost if you do not find anything.

I don't have the "E" software either but I think they are the same.

You can assign a graphic image once loaded using the BMP loader tool with PB32.

I have never found a way to specify a custom screen saver for PB1400e.

The 1400e software is considerably different than PB32.

I agree the 1400e is a much different beast to the other PVs

You could make your own pseudo screensaver using a couple of screens under PLC control and multi-state indicators to give a moving image. Its a little long winded but if you have enough 1400e it could be worth doing.
