I have an RSView32 project that I did 3 years ago. It's a standalone system connected to 3 ML1500 PLC's using AIC+ modules. Right now the customer is having a problem with the display on the computer. Sometimes it goes completely grayscale and sometimes certain parts of the display disappear altogether or go grayscale. Not sure what to look for here. Could it be a memory leak? What can I do to troubleshoot?

Any advice would be much appreciated!

Thanks

Maybe a new codec installed could cause this, or some other display intensive program. Maybe the display adapter is going bad. I would start by trying to determine when this started and what changed on the PC around this time.

(Forgot to click on the e-mail notification) Could even be a Microsoft update...

It turns out there was a faulty 24 VDC power supply which was powering the AIC+ module. Every once in a while the voltage would drop as low as 13 volts and cause comm errors and graphic display problems on the scada PC.

Problem solved. thumbsupsmileyanim.gif
