Hi,

We have a GE Mini OIT screen model IC600KD515B.
Has anyone found a replacement to this obsolete screen?

Thanks,
Drusso

They were made by Nematron, so you might try them. If that doesn't turn up anything, try Qualitrol.

They repair a lot of the vintage hardware. They also buy up old stock and refurbish/resell it. You might also look at

Steve,

I was able to repair the screen this time.

The 5 volt regulator had only 4.6 volts.
The screen is back up.

I checked the web sites you recommended and they do fix them but they have none in stock.
I was just lookinng to see if anybody found a current replacement for this style screen.

thanks,

I'm pretty sure you will need something that can run as a VT100 emulator. It might be easier to replace it with a more current HMI. What is driving the Mini OIT? Is it a program on a Basic module in your PLC?

Several years ago I converted some applications that were using the GE Fanuc Series 90 ADS system. That used a Series 90 PCM module to drive a Mini OIT. We replaced the EPROM on the PCM module with the one from a CMM311 (serial communications) module and converted the ADS application to a Quick Panel HMI.
