Hi Sirs !

We need to replace wire communications for fiber optic between PLC 2 's, one link speaking DH+ and other link speaking Remote I/O (RIO). Which the cheapest converter could be supplied ? Do you know a cheaper alternative for the module AB 1771-AF ? Let me know third part supplier for this kind of modules.

Thanks for your help

A-B just builds the 1771-AF as spare parts these days... there are better, cheaper, and more compact solutions on the market for RIO and DH+ on fiber.

The two Rockwell partner companies I've worked with are Phoenix Digital and Weed Instrument. Phoenix makes chassis-mounted fiber converters, and Weed's are a modular DIN-rail mounted product.
