Hello,
I have been currently using a data acquisition unit to test product in our lab. We a an AB 1760-L18BWB-EX with a 1760-IB12X0B8 add-on. I use the data acquisition to send a 5 volt signal to a solenoid for 300ms then stop for 10min then repeat. I've been testing 16 at a time. Is it possible for the Pico unit to to the same job driving the solenoids?

Thanks,
Mark

Yes
You should be able to control with a Pico. It has relay outputs so you will need to supply the 5 volt.
A Pico make a great timer.

Yes, it could do it. But be aware that the PICO is a really low end unit. You can get quite a bit more functionality, including communications and data logging capabilities if you used a real PLC.

Thanks for the help. Currently it's the only other piece of equipment we have to cycle solenoids.
