Full Version: Micrologix 1500 I/O configuration problem

Hi all,

Here's the problem:

I have a micro 1500LRP, I'm trying to go to run mode and I have 12 cards in the I/O config. (No actual hardware, just the base and processor) When I try to go to run mode S:6 = 78Ah. The problem seems to come from the fact that after slot 6 I have an unpowered cable and PA4 power supply. If I delete cards 7-12, power supply and cable it will go to run fine.

I do have the "Ignore configuration error" checked on all cards. If I try to just add all the cards without the cable and power supply I get "Overloaded" and Slot 9-12 is too far from Power Supply.

How do I ignore the cable and power supply? Do I just convert the card I/O to registers until I have the actual hardware?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Mike
