Can anyone help helpsmilie.gif

I am very inexperienced with using Ascii and the Allen Bradley basic module. I have a PLC which is already up and running and receiving ascii data via a Basic Module but I am only receiving one value at the moment. I now need to receive upto 4 values! I have looked at the RS logix software and think that I can replicate the existing ladders to put the other values in the correct destinations. Does the basic module program have to be modified and some kind of identifier attached to the ascii code to seperate the different packages of numbers. I could send extracts of the software should anyone specialise in this area.

Thanks in advance

I think this would be hard to answer without seeing the BASIC program. My guess would be that you'd have to modify the BASIC program somewhat, as well as the rungs of ladder in the PLC like you mentioned.

Not personally familiar with Basic Module, but Gadwin Screen Print is freeware and would produce better results.
