Hi,

I am using Micrologix 1100 in my project to communicate with the Siemens Device on Modbus RTU protocol.

Micrologix 1100 is slave to the device. Siemens device will read data from modbus address 40100 to 40104 using read holding function code-03.

But Micrologix having File format like N7:0. How i will come to know that N7:0 lies on which modbus address.

help me out..

Go to Channel Configuration>Channel 0
Pull down Driver menu and select Modbus RTU Slave
Then assign the Modbus Data File Numbers for your 4 Modbus data types
