I would like to know if the 1784-PCC (PCMCIA ControlNet card) work with Windows XP.

Yes. I run a 1784-PCC with Windows XP Professional often.

There is a single plug-and-play driver for the 1784-PCC for all Windows version, downloadable from:

http://www.rockwellautomation.com/support/pccards/
