Last night my RSlinx acted up for the second time since IT launched this years new iimages. Here is how it malfunctions.

1. Launch an RSWHO and try to Autobrowse an Ethernet Driver. No response.
2. Try and Right click on Workstation and Linx responds Cannot Communicate with device.
3. Close , shutdown and reopen linx no change.
4. Uninstall and reinstall linx no change.
5.. Uninstall linx 2.42.18 and install 2.43.00 still no change,
6. Uninstall linx 2.43.00 and install 2.50.25 and still no change.
7. Finally right click on Workstation and remove. Close rswho and reopen all is well,

I'll put up screen shot later. I found nothing on Knowledgebase.

Did not think of the Harmony FIles. I'll try that if it happens again.

Also you might check with IT about if ports 2222 or 44818 have any type of firewall.

Symantec Firewall on local machine is open to allow RSlinx. I'll check for network ports with IT but the problem has dissappeared since going from 2.50 to 2.51 of RSlinx.
