I understand A/B has owned this company since 2000. So does anyone know anything about these drives.
What software is used to communicate with them? What pitfalls are in store? etc?

I guess I've answered my own questions. This info was not very easy to find:
1) The software is Rockwell IQ Master (Windows, free download from Rockwell)
2) The very nice feature of these drives is they all come with a removeable EEPROM, akw: 'Personality Module'. Therefore, if a drive fails and you have a replacement, swap the modules, copy the dip switch settings, and your back up....unless the problem is the 'Personality Module' ............
