Does anyone know how to set up communication between a PC and a 5370 CVIM machine vision system? I have tried using hyperterminal, terminal, and QBASIC. I am getting no response from the CVIM. My ultimate goal is to read results data from the CVIM on the PC. I don't know much about programming, and the manual gives command codes which are supposed to be typed in, but I don't know where or how they are supposed to be entered. Any advise on this issue would be appreciated.
