Posted 23 Jul 2007 The *.ACH file extension was used for several different A-B programming packages for the SLC-500 an various PLC-2/3/5 families. RSLogix 500 will open *.ACH files that were created by APS programming software for SLC's, for example. Which edition of RSLogix (500, 5, 5000 ?) are you using, and do you konw which type of controller the program is for ?

Posted 24 Jul 2007 also ... if you have any other files with the same FIRST NAME as your .ach file, it would be a good idea to post them too ... the older software (pre-RSLogix) used separate files for documentation and other comments ... we'll try to merge those for you if you'll send them along ... Posted 26 Jul 2007 *.ACH file is created if you emulate your RSlogix 500 program, You can open the program but No Discreption and Symbol would go. Try to open again your Program with *.RSS extention then save Us, *.ACH. then re open again, am' sure it will open. Gnex
