  1. I have a 5/04 in a block plant that I do contract work for, they had an issue with the processor a couple of weeks ago faulted. They loaded the eeprom to get back running and since I can not get the processor to run without the eeprom. If I load the program with all settings for load eeprom unchecked the processor when powering back up (runs fine until you shut it down) faults can not even get online without without powering the unit down and doing a reboot and reloading the program. I already changed the processor thinking I had memory issues, the battery is new. This one has me stumped any ideas? Shawn
  2. AB PLC history lesson

I will try to upload a pic tonight.
  3. Silly trivia type question. I came into the plc scene and was introduced to PLC 5 class of PLC. Did Allen Bradley make a PLC put into production use before the PLC 2? I think I have the first PLC 2/30 sold by Allen Bradley, and put into production if my source is correct. It does not look like the PLC 2's I have seen before. Almost all of the PLC 2's I see have a "screen" stlye venting in the outer metal case this one has a stamped metal case with slots for venting.
  4. 150-A97NBD 150-A180NBD SMC Soft Starters

Thanks Ken! I had the wrong manual, for SMC 2. My starters are SMC plus (the manuals you have above). Thanks again.
  5. 150-A97NBD 150-A180NBD SMC Soft Starters

Thanks Ken, I do not think the starters I have are the Dialog Plus. I believe they are the SMC 2 series. 150-A***** versus 150-B******. I have found 150-in006_-mu-p.pdf that seems to be my manual
  6. Hey guys, I have searched AB KB, Literature, etc I can not find user manuals for these model SMC Soft Starters. Anybody have manuals electronically for 150-A97NBD or 150A180NBD starters?
  7. RSLogix Software on Ebay

Not all items on ebay are a scam or rip off, while in this case I would agree with run do not walk. I conduct several thousand dollars a month of business on and off of ebay, all items for sale are purchased with every attempt at legitimacy. While ebay is only a part of my business it is things like this that drive customers away from good quality parts and deals. It is not the norm for items like this, unfortunately they are the highlighted items. Please if you see listings like these report them for removal.
  8. Thanks for the reply: That is the correct answer enter 65257636 when prompted for the password will clear all memory and wipe ou the program. Remember it clears the memory so don't do it unless you want a default ML to write your own program for. Thanks Shawn
  9. The processor is password protected I need to clear the memory, does anybody out there know how?
  10. Sorry they were ML1500 1764-LSP, changing gears I am pulling out an LSP. Any help would be appreciated.
  11. Is it possible to protect a ML1000 1761-L16BWA with a password so that a new program can not be downloaded to? I have never seen this nor can I duplicate it with any of my ML1000's, but I sold 2 to a customer who says this is the case. Even with a master password on the processor, I can still download a program without any issues at least so far. I appreciate any help this is a rush. Thanks guys Shawn
  12. 1785-ENET Compatibility Help Please

Actually I just purchased a 1785-L40C/E Series E for $115 should be here in 2-3 days, it just goes in my garage to monitor my systems etc. Thanks for your help, I did forget about the Rev Upgrade.
  13. 1785-ENET Compatibility Help Please

Figures it will be cheaper to buy another processor! Thanks!
  14. 1785-ENET Compatibility Help Please

Thanks for the reply, I started to suspect this before logging back in. I checked the offline image of the 1785-L40B Series B it was a Rev N. It was upgraded without changing the label. These processors can not be flash upgraded can they? If I remember correctly an eeprom needs to be changed?
  15. I have a 1785-ENET Series B Firmware D REV J02 manufactured 03/04 that was used with a 1785-L40B Series B Firmware A. I am trying to use it with either a 1785-L60B Series C Rev D or a 1785-L40B Series C Rev D, neither will work. The STAT led on the 1785-ENET flashes 37 PLC5 not compatible? What Series/REV is compatible with the 1785-ENET?
