USB driver for FX3G

8 posts in this topic

Hello everybody, It's first time I have a project with FX3G. I tried to connect my PC ( running on Windows XP) to PLC via the USB port but it failed because the driver is not installed yet. My GX developer is of ver.8.84N ( it is working with FX3G normally via RS422 port). Can any one tell me how can I install USB driver ? I really need it because the RS422 port is connected to GOT. Thank you in advance.

This link should work, if not go to www.meau.com downloads, drivers. Also I think this should install when you installed GX DEV http://www.meau.com/eprise/main/sites/public/Downloads/-search_results?SType=0&DocType=040&SessionNum=0&UserID=&Division=00015&Opt1=Yes&submit1=Search&Family=0001520010&Series=000152001020040&Line=00015200102004021340

What OS do you use, and very important what bit version of the OS do you use (32bit or 64bit)?? Mitsubishi does not yet have working/approved 64bit USB drivers, hence you cannot use the USB port on a 64bit machine (all other drivers seems to work excellent though, I've tried most of them on a Win7 64bit).

Driver for FX3G is same as Q Series. C:\MELSEC\EasySocket\USBDrivers Do not pick install automatically, select install from a specific location and point it at that directory and you will be in business. bobtalbot, it's not the same driver as the FX3U-USB-BD and the FX-USB-AW.

You need to install the driver manually from "Device Manager" and choose the route C:\Program Files\EZSocket\Easysocket\USBDrivers

If you follow crossbows link it says where you find the drivers. You should start a new post not attach to one that is five years old. Rodney
