hi, i want to connect cpm2a plc to pc. with c1f11(rs422) .kindly can any member tell me if it is possible to connect cpm2a plc with it.if yes plz give me connection diagram and anything other than that is required or not. thanks in advance

Whats the full part number on the CIF11? If it's a CPM1-CIF11 it just plugs into the built in programming port.

Since PCs do not communicate using RS422 or RS485, you would need an adapter of some sort to go from RS422 to RS232. Or.... You could get rid of the CIF11(unless it is already communicating eith something else) and get a CQM1-CIF02* (i think that is the right number) and just use RS232 directly from the PLC to the PC serial port (or likely to the serial to USB coverter). * I corrected the CQM1-CIF02 part number.

There is another adapter module option for RS232 as an option to replace the CIF11, perhaps it is the CPM1-CIF01 (check on this number). It would change the peripheral port to an Omron 9 pin port (special pinout, you would have to make your own 9 pin to 9 pin cable).
