  1. The image from your original post is not from a CPM. CPM PLCs do not support function blocks. If you are trying to protect the PLC code from being viewed then use the CX Programmer software and the PLC | Protection. !!! DON'T forget the password once it is set !!!
  2. DeviceNet WD30 Antennas

I have a customer using a WD30 master and slaves with the WD30-AT001 antennas. The master is mounted inside, but one of the slaves is mounted outside the building but inside an enclosure. Sometimes they lose connection to his wireless slave outside and was wondering if the antennas can be mounted outside in the elements? This installation is in northern Ohio so we can see summer temps of upto 110F and winter temps as low as -20F. The antennas would also see rain, snow and ice as well as direct sunlight. I am also looking for an alternate for the WD30-AT001 wireless DeviceNet antenna. Is there a long range or higher gain option? Has anyone used a none Omron antenna on their WD30 installations? Thank you for your help.
  3. Connection Problem CJ2M

The trial version should have no problems communicating and should run for 30 days. Only the later versions work properly on Windows 7 64 bit. What version of the trial are you using?
  4. I have used Recipes or Data Blocks on the NS Screens numerous times before and have always had the operator scroll up and down the screen, pick the recipe they want to load and press the button to load it. This works fine. My current application is a little different. In this application the operator will use a barcode reader connected to the NS screen to scan a barcode that contains the part number they want to run. I would like the recipe to be automatically picked and activated based in the part number scanned in. I have the recipes working manually. I have the barcode scanning in. Now I need to link the two together. There may be 1000 different recipes. Any ideas on how this may be done. Thanks
  5. Programming the CP1L through a CP1W-ETN01-US

Sorry I posted this in the wrong forum. It should have been in the CX Programmer forum and not CX ONE. I don't seem to be able to move it.
  6. Does anyone know what the oldest version of CX Programmer you can use to program the CP1L through the CP1W-ETN01-US? My customer is using CX Programmer V7.3 which has the CP1L but no option to connect over ethernet. I am running CX Programmer 8.2 and there is an option for ethernet. My customer does not want to upgrade to CX ONE V3 yet unless he absolutely has to. I see in the manual for the ETN01 that it specifies CX Programmer 8.0 to do this, but wondered if anyone knows of a work around to get this to work with 7.3. Thanks for your help.
  7. Help! Cx-Modem

The posts on this topic seem a little difficult to understand. This is what I have found. I registered my CXONE on the site listed in this Topic, and after the registration was confirmed I still did NOT have access to CX-Modem. I then registered an old copy of CX Programmer, and after the registration was confirmed I DID have access to CX-Modem. It would appear as though CX Programmer unlocks access to CX-Modem and CXOne does not. I would this helps others.
  8. Connecting to a CJ1 serial port using a USR Modem

Looks like a lot of good info on these modem issues but I still have some questions because mine is not working. I am using CXP 8.2.0.4 and CX-Server 4.3. The PLC is connected to USR Sportster 36K modem using the cable in the connection guide listed on MrPLC. The PC end is using the laptop built in modem. I have tried 9600, 19200, 7E2, 8N1 plus many more with no success. Do you have to use external modems on both ends? Does CX-Modem configure the remote modem, local modem or both? Can someone post this CX-Modem for everyone to use? Thanks for your help.
  9. Need Manual for CS1W-CTS21 SSI Interface

This manual does not appear to have any reference to the CTS21, just 2 other CT modules. I am also looking for a manual on the CJ1W-CTS21.
  10. Omron Ethernet/IP comms probs via EIP21 card

We did finally get the wago 750-841 unit to work with the Omron CJ1W-EIP21. What we had to do was to get an older version of firmware from Wago. Once we loaded that older version of firmware into the 750-841 then everything started working. Not sure what that means. Thank you everyone for your help.
  11. Omron Ethernet/IP comms probs via EIP21 card

Thanks for your post. We still can not get the unit to work. What IO modules did you have on the wago unit? we can get the PLC to turn on wago outputs but not the other way round. The NS light on the Wago unit is flashing red and sometimes the CJ1W-EIP module has a d9 error. Thanks
  12. Omron Ethernet/IP comms probs via EIP21 card

We are currently testing the CJ1W-EIP21 with the Wago 750-841 and are having some problems. The PLC can turn on outputs on the wago unit but we do not see any inputs on the wago from the PLC. Any ideas? Would it be possible to get a copy of the 750 eds file you used to compare it to the one we had to change? Thanks
  13. where can I download cx-one ?

Is that something that Omron could provide for everyone?
  14. where can I download cx-one ?

Is there anywhere I can donwload the Trial version from. The smartplatform site appears to just mail you a CD. I know that the file will be very large but it would still be quicker to download than to wait for the CD. Thanks
  15. Mitsubishi CC-Link to Omron PLC

Proface also has some products that could act as a gateway between the 2 Devices.
