UNITY PRO XL, DFB ANOMALY

I have an anomaly with a DFB that I have created. I have a SEQTIME and SEQEVENT block that seem to retain the STEPNUM, which is an input of type INT, value. When I refine the DFB I can see the STEPNUM advance but on the MAST Section and the Animation Table show the STEPNUM as a 0. I can successfully pull all the logic out of the DFB and just place it in the Section (LD) and it will work as intended. I’m wondering if there are any known issues with DFB creation and usage in Unity. Thank you for your time and expertise. Looking forward to a response!
