Hi.. Need help or advice regarding the above topic. I am using CP1L-EM CPU which has an ethernet connection. When the PLC arrive, it will be directly connected to the PC through ethernet. While awaiting for the actual plc to arrive for testing, I would like to simulate FINS Command using CX-Simulator to read/write CIO and DM data by using Omron Multiway FINS program. Is it possible for me to do that? Do I need to use VMmare and place the Multiway program on a virtual PC which is separated from the CX-Simulator? Or can I just put everything in 1 PC? Does anybody have any tutorial to get me started if it is possible? I've spend many days searching the web for such tutorial but all I have found is normal simulation of CX-Programmer with CX-Simulator. Thanks.
