Now I have disided to make a filter. I m trying to get frequency responce of a filter ciruit with the help of ELVIS unit. My VI will generate sine wave and it will give to input of my filter and output responce will be displayed on my VI. but in this case i will only able to know weather my filter pass that freq or not. I want the whole freq responce to be dispalyed. Now the Q is How i can send the whole frequency range from my VI? Lets say from 1 Hz to 10Khz. Now i will have bunch of different ouputs. Can I plot that ouput on blod plotter? Will my ELVIS work on that frequency? If this is possible then i will go for it otherwish i will be still looking for some nice small project. Thanks, Smartguy

Thanks Noely, Its a college level small project. I m using NI-ELVIS unit in college. I just want to make a simple application using LabVIEW. ex. event counter- it will count the # of ppl entering the room and turn on the LED at 10 ppl or i can change this number from front panal. i chaked the web but all VIs r so hi-fi. anyother ideas Thanks, Smartguy

The man thought for a while and replied, " Yes, I'd be an office boy at Microsoft!" Moral of the story: M1 - Internet is not the solution to your life. Hi all, I want to make a simple project using labview. the minimum requirement is: it must have one input and one output. I just want to make a simple application. can u please help me regarding to this. i would appricate if someone can make VI or give me ideas Smartguy

Once again I have to change my project. someone was already working on robot project. Now I m working on door security system. and its final this time already start working on ckt. The only trouble is Assembly language . after using PLC I hate doing machine level programming.

One good news and one bad news! Bad news is my praposal for trafic signal is rejected. Reason- too simple n easy, even a monkey can make it ( ya nothing but a stupid teacher) Good news is now I will make a robot So the project will be more electronics, hardware n software. I dont know how I gonna do it but I will do it if u guys help me So basically project will be interfacing microcontroller with outputs. I will have motors for driving robot. I m planning to put camera on it and might use temprature senser to show temparture. Anybody have ever made it or any idea! any good web contaning schamatics n software coads? Lets see how it goes! Thanks Rday! But i dont get wat u mean by STOP LIGHT? what is the application? is it like trafic signal? This kind of simple project will be great and i appricate more input from u abt this. as i said i have very little knowledge so i need more help regarding parts and plc. its same as u r explaning a grade 1 kids how to write ABC.... Hi! I wanna make electronics project using PLC. I have very little knowledge in plc and controles but i m suer if u guys help me , i will able to make it. First of all i have no idea wat to make. other guys in my class r make on amplifier, radio, sensors..... i m planning to make simple and small project. which might include microcontroller. my budget is around $300-$400. any plc will work as i m good at none so any idea??

Thanks for ur reply guys! The most important thing I feel about setup the control system in the company is: " switchin time" all depend on it.. u can deside the type of plc and microcontroller later on.... if the switching time is less u can use relay or if fast then use microcontroller
