Unable to open GXW File

Hi all, I'm not that familiar with Mitsubishi software but I'm having difficulty opening a .GXW file. I have both GX IEC Developer 7.04 & GX Works2 but both fail to recognise the file. The PLC model is: FX0-20MR-ES Hope someone can offer me some advise. Kind Regards Martin

That should be a GX Works 2 file. Can you zip and post it?

Hi Martin, Could it be that your file was saved as a 'Workspace file format' instead of a 'Single file format' by the original designer of the software? I had a situation like that with one of our external developers. I could not open the application that he made because he saved it not as a Single file format. Best regards, Theo V.

may seem stupid but have you tried just double clicking the file to open it rather than trying to open it within gxworks? I have had a similar problem where it wouldn't see the file in gxworks, but would open it up ok if I just double clicked the file from the desktop.
