Error creating IO-table with AD041-V1

I have an AD014-V1 analogic I/O module, and when I try to create the new IO-table with cx-programmer it is detected as "Unknown unit type". If I try to configure it manually and send to the PLC I get the error "The command has failed - one or more Special Units are in error". I have only this module now for test it. The modude haven't leds lit, neither the run one. What could I to try? Thanks in advance

Sounds to me the AD041 is defect. Is this the only I/O unit on the CPU? Do others get detected normally? Do you have another AD-041 to test?

I had other 2 modules of digital input and output, but they are well detected. I don't have any other AD-041 to test. But I tested it in another PLC with the same error result. There is any official way to confirm they are defect? Can they be fixed? Thanks Edited 16 Jun 2015 by wakeup

Contact Omron technical support. They can give you more detail and tell you about repair options in your country. I know in the US they have a department to repair automation products.

Usually AD cards that go bad have suffered overvoltage on the inputs. In that case if you look in the card with a flashlight you can see the burned input circuitry on the PCB.. and mostly smell it :) How I know? Well... I just heard
