Posted 26 Jul 2014 May be a really noob question, but.... We have a piece of equipment that we are going to make some modifications to. I am not very good at programming with AB but can do these simple things. However, when I enable my forces in the plc then right click my OTE the forces tabs are still greyed out. I would like to force a couple bits so the equipment can continue to run while I make my changes. Some will be forced on and most will be forced off. Pleae if you would help. I can not find how to get them to work. Like I said, I used the enable all I/O forces but it is still greyed out. Thanks Will
Posted 26 Jul 2014 You can only force real I/O, is it? http://www.plctalk.net/qanda/showpost.php?p=537151&postcount=
Posted 26 Jul 2014 Page 13 of the attached document explains Force's in Logix 5000. Also check out this link for some extra info before trying to use forces. http://forums.mrplc.com/index.php?showtopic=11189 Regards, BCS 07272011093611.pdf
