Hi all The customer called me because the HMI Did not communicate with the PLC Which is connected to The problem showed up after a hardware repair of the HMI.( Power supply) I’tried to upload the project from the HMI But it was not possible So I went to the set up menu in order to check the port settings. The comm driver installed at the HMI is for FX CPU But the RS232 Port is assigned for the Communication I tried to change this setting but it was not possible because these parameters are automatic assigned every time you change the PLC type According to the manual when the FX PLC is selected ,Port RS422 is automatically assigned for communication by default. Does anybody knows how to change the comm settings ? Thanks in advance

How to synchronize two different VFD's using Mitsubishi PLC?
plcfreak replied to mitsubishi_user's topic in Mitsubishi
Hi all In my opinion the best solution is to use 2 FR-A 700 Series Inverters with encoder feedback card. At the master Inverter you have to use the FR-A7AL card with pulse division output then connect the pulse output to the jog terminal of the slave FR-A700(Speed reference via pulse train input) . If you want even better performance use also a feedback card(FR-A7AP) at the slave drive in order to be closed loop. I Have done it many times so far and with excellent results. -
Also chek your FX3U Version. It must be ver.3.0 (and higher) to work with the new card
