  1. That Sounds Like A Winner, Let Me Goto AB.com and See What I Can Locate Thank's Will Be Back When Completed w/Update. Thank's UPDATE: Just Finished w/AB Tech Support, 1747-OS302 Firmware In a Non-Issue When Going From 1747-PIC To The 1761-NET-AIC+ SerB. If Communicating w/1747-PIC, The NET-AIC+ Should Be Communicating As Well, Tried Another 1761-NET-AIC+= No Comm, Tried 9600Baud/No. "Token" Configuration Should Not Matter As Well. Suspecting 1761-CBL-AS03 Cable, They Have No Ohms Impedance Specs, Just Pinout. Port 3 (Phoenix)w/1761-NET-AIC+ Will Assume The Node Connected To It, So When Communicating, Will Show Up In RSLinx. One Last Item To Verify Is The SOLA Power Supply To 1761-NET-AIC+, Vdc Specs Are 20.8 - 28.8Vdc.
  2. Forgot To Display/Mention. Same RSLogix-500 Channel Configuration Used w/1761-NET-AIC+, Nothing Get's Changed.
  3. Here Is The RSLogix-500 Channel Configuration(s)
  4. Hopefully This Should Do, Also Thanks For The Nice Pic Comment. When DH-485 w/NET-AIC+ Network Is Operational, Will Do a Complete Tutorial For This Forum.
  5. Will Have By Tomarrow The RSLink/RSLogic-500 Configuration .jpgs. Yes, There Is a Comm Problem With The "RED" Lined Displayed Network For DH-485 The Problem(s) Are Using The 1761-CBL-AS03 From 1761-NET-AIC+ Port-3 (Phoenix) To The SLC5/03 CH-1 (RJ-45). I'am Starting To Suspect A Bad Port-3 On 1761-NET-AIC+. The Other Network's (Colored) Hardware & Software Configuration Is Working, But Do Not Want To Use The 1747-PIC, Since The 1761-NET-AIC+ Is Din-Mounted Inside Panel.
  6. Since Last Post, 07 Feb 2010, Upgraded To Win-XP SP2 From 98SE Upgraded RSLinx Lite 2.43 To 2.54 Quit Trying Homebrew 1761-CBL-ASxx, Could Not Verify Short Cable Lenght (8"), If Impedance Was Problem, Pinout Was Correct, Twisted Pair Cable. Purchased 1761-CBL-AS03 Cable, Correctly Config COM-1 On PC, Now Dedicated w/Rockwell Comm Serial Driver. Got Some Of DH-485 Network Communicating, The Next Learning/Teaching Is Communicating w/1761-CBL-AS03 From 1761-NET-AIC+, Port-3 to SLC5/03 CH-1. Goal Is To Not Use My 1747-PIC. Included w/Post Is .jpg DH-485 Current Using Network's. This Forum Has Considerable Helped Me, a Place Of Excellent Resource(s) w/Documentation, Have Researched This Forum-AB For Related Topics, Filled In Alot Of Unknowens, Along w/AB Literature Library & Knowledgebase [everyone]. Should Have Tech Connect/Knowledgebase Access By Next Week. Thank's Again All!
  7. Tried It, I Disconnected SLC5/03, CH-1, 1761-CBL-AS03 Cable, Connected 1761-CBL-PM02 Cable From NET-AIC+ [8-Din] To SLC5/03, CH-0. Then Deleted AB_PIC-1 Driver / RSLinx, Added AB_DF1, Auto Configured-Successful. Chg Offline NETAic.rss [RSLogix-500]/ Tools/System Options, Selected New Driver, AB_DF1, Download To PLC, AB_DF1 Communications Re-established @ 19200, COM-1, SLC5/03 In Run Mode. Disconnected SLC5-03,CH-0 [1761-CBL-PM02] Cable, RSLinx, Comm Error 00000005 Connected Cable 1761-CBL-AS03 From NET-AIC+ [Phoneix] To SLC5/03, CH-1 [RJ45], No Comm/RSLinx, Red-X Node-1 [AB_DF1] Removed 1761-CBL-AS03 From CH-1, Connected 1761-CBL-PM02 To CH-0, Have Comm/RSlinx, Node-1.

RSLogix500 & RSLinx DH485 w/NET-AIC+ Communications Network Setup Attachments Incl; 1] SLC_NET_AIC+.jpg [Network Layout] 2] 100-1069.jpg [EEP Panel] 3] 1761-CBL-AS03.pdf 4] NETAic.RSS 5] AB_PIC-1.jpg [RSLinx AB_PIC-1 Driver Setup] Trying To Establish a DH485 Comm w/ SLC-5/03, CH-1 [RJ45] w/1761-NET-AIC+, After Several Attempt's, and Correcting The Homebrew 1761-CBL-AS03 [sIG GND was connected to CHS GND] Cable. Note: 1747-PIC Works Fine On Com-1&Com-2 w/ SLC5-03 CH-1 [RJ45] Reviwed Every Document @ Forum Relating To SLC5/03 DH485, Helped Me Verify Miswired Homebrew 1761-CBL-AS03 Cable, Went to UTube Link Referencing "DH485 Communications Network Configuration" referencing a Micrologix-1200 {http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nKaGmXdXygo}, Excellent Detail's, Did Not Get SLC5-03 Running, Still Not Listed In RSLinx Lite Using AB_PIC-1 Driver [1747-PIC/NET+ Driver]. Originally Established Network Comm w/AB_DF1 Using The NET-AIC+, Then Attempted w/AB_PIC-1, No Luck/Skill, Strangely, Could Not Re-aquire SLC5-03 On CH-0 w/AB_DF1 Even Going Point to Point w/1747-CP3, Discovered During Attempt, S:2/15 Went True, Preventing Comm On More Than 1 Port, Now I Have Edited a S:2/15 [Comms Servicing Selection]Unlatch & SVC Logic To NETAic.rss I Know That I'am Missing The Proper Sequence For Deleting The AB_DF1 & Creating The AB_PIC-1 Driver Along w/RSLogix-500 Configuration, But Not Sure Yet What They Are. This Is The Same House Project I Started Last Year and Received Help From You All, Finally Got Hoffman Panel Builted Up/Installed And Internally Wired. Any Direction/Comments Would Help, Thanks, Jeffrey Drescher NETAIC.RSS 1761_CBL_AS03___1761_CBL_AS09_Cable_Pin_Out.pdf

RSLogix-500 Starter Version Will Not Do Online, Will Have To Upgrade To Next Level, Not Sure What Cost Will Be. I'am Using The Starter Version Myself
