Posted 28 Aug 2014 Hello, can someone recommend HMI's which can be connected to my cc-link network? or is it better to use a PLC on the cc-link network and attach the HMI to the PLC? I just find the GT16 very expensive and I believe they need CC-link IE? Thanks you.
Posted 28 Aug 2014 Attach the HMI to the PLC. Mitsubishi GOT terminals can be connected to CC-Link. But the amount of data that can be transferred is based on the network speed, and screen refresh may be slower than for example Ethernet.
Posted 29 Aug 2014 (edited) Seconded. Add a PLC to the CC link network and and connect the HMI to the PLC. You will still be limited by the network speed and and data transfer amount. Or look at the GT15-61BT13. https://gb3a.mitsubishielectric.com/fa/en/service/download/sendfile?id=4774&doc_type=doc_loc&saveAs=0&form_submit=View+now Edited 29 Aug 2014 by Veganic
Posted 30 Aug 2014 GT15-J61BT13, left out the J. Also, it's still limited in the amount of data and configuration of the addresses when building the screens is a bit harder than directly to a PLC.
