Np-Designer v 1.1 Error - URGENT!

hey guys ! When I try saving a file this is the error i get.. I tried reinstalling and it seemed to work fine for a few times and then i get this error again... PLEASEE HELP !!! very urgent :( here are the screen shots of the errors: the system cannot find the path specified.bmp environment parameter fail.bmp

GUYS i fixed the error and now I am able to save a file.However after I save a file when I open it now I get the following error :( error.bmp

Did you try to shorten your filename?

No !! I just tried opening the same saved file and it gives me that error :( Not sure why :S Any other possibilities ?

He is suggesting that you shorten the file name. Please try it. Your file name is over 42 characters as the message says.

yeah sorry I misunderstood it !! When the file name is short, it does not give this error. However, I can't rename the original file and will have to recreate the project.

And ohh do you have any videos tutorials for NP designer ? The ones I found online were all other models..

I agree, how about the File -> "Save As" option? I no longer have NP-Designer on my PC, but I would expect it to be there.

To see the save as option I need to be able to open the file firstly yeah ? It gives an instant error saying that and goes blank after clicking close on the error dialogue box. Oh if you have some experience on Np Designer, Could you give me some tips/ tutorials that you may have used to learn it ? I am new to this field and finding it tricky to be able to communicate between HMI and the PLC itself.. For instance, How do I design a push button on the HMI that will be able to control the movement of a lift/gate manually ? The addressing of the PLC and HMI should match or something ?

You can rename it without open it. Just find the file on your drive, and manually change it's name. I dont have much experience with NP Designer. I tryed it for 2 project and hate it. In Omron I prefer NS series. But for the $$ I prefer Maple, which in reality is Weinteck.
