Connect PC to PLC A1SHCPU of Mitsubishi

Hi, I'm having a A1SHCPU and GX-Developer software V8, but dont know how to handle it. Anyone pls give me some guide about what cable I need to connect my PC to PLC to upload program inside the CPU for backup. Many thanks.

You'll need to buy a SC09 cable from Mitsubishi.

Thanks. Can we make this cable ourselves? Does it have any electronics like an adapter?

Its got an RS232 to RS422 converter in it, so buy the cable instead of waste the time trying to make one.

Hello, i found in Amazon a cable with USB adapter (RS-422 -USB). Do you know if that type of cable works ok? I got a question: I have the A1SHCPU-B, is this CPU supported by the GX Developer v 8.01? Edited 2 Sep 2015 by fsalguero

All A Series PLCs are supported in GX Developer. Please don't post on a 6 year old topic. Make your own when you have a new question.
