Just sharing with everyone. Found a cool solution. This SerialLevelToS7 is a windows based service, it tunnels all data from a serial device to a S7. I placed in the microbox with winac rtx and it is sending the data from a barcode reader to a DB on the winac rtx. Serial communication S7 Works nicelly and i got a quotation and it is really cost saving.

It is simple the inputs on the plc are outputs for the yahama robot. And vice-versa. They need to come out with an interface. You should do the follwoing: - Request to the yahama eng. what he needs as sginals (outputs) and what he can offer on the inputs. - Then the guy on the plc side should map the inputs and he can use them on in ladder logic. In the end those inputs are singnals from the Yahama robot.

I have a winac rtx in a microbox ipc. I have got a serial port on the computer. I want to connect a rs232 scanner but i am unable to use the port directly. But either i buy the winac serial drive, or the et200s with a serial ssi card i can use the port. As already anyone found another solution for this?
