Omron NT31

Hello, I have Omron NT31-ST121-EV2, and i am using NTST (NT Series Support Tool) Software for programming it, the problem is that after downloading the program the NT panel supposed to go in the RUN mode but instead of that it keep showing a screen written "System Initializing", I dont know how to put my NT panel in the RUN mode, is there any solution kindly share it, i am worried a lot. There is no "RUN" function you are looking for. It sounds like your communication settings of PLC port and NT panel port do not match. Access the NT panel system menu (press any two corners at the same time). I made an instruction sheet for a customer once who had the same problem after replacing the NT panel. See attached how to check your NT panel settings. It must match the PLC port settings. On top of that, the PT first register set in the PT control/notify area must be set to a valid screen number (in BCD). E.g. on PLC first cycle, use a MOV instruction that moves #100 in the register, if your startup screen is 100. In this example MOV #100 to D10. NT31 Check comms method.pdf

Ok I tried it in the same way as u explained but nothing happens, i moved the #100 to DM10, and also changed the PT configuration as D00010, but still it keeps showing System Initializing screen, can you please tell me about the cable pinouts that should be used between omron PLC and NT31, i am using this cable pinout, DB9 Male DB9 Male 2 ------------------------------ 2 3 ------------------------------ 3 8 ------------------------------ 4 7 ------------------------------ 5 5 ------------------------------ 9 i thought it might be the case that cable which i am using between plc and NT31 not correct, i am newbie on omron system so facing these issues, i will be very thankful to you please help me out.

Your cable is wrong. You might want to read a manual instead of just throwing together a cable and pray it works. http://forums.mrplc.com/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=400

This Prblem is for cable. when the cable is wrong you see this page. your configuration is wrong. you must use this configuration: PLC NT 2 ------------------------------ 3 3 ------------------------------ 2 9 ------------------------------ 9 Edited by omroniran
