use the button to advance a counter, then use the counter.acc/0 (lowest Bit) to toggle the output Once the counter reacheches Max value, it will go Min value by itself, so no worries.

Hi all, Had a discussion with a colleague regarding the benefits of ST vs. LL. One of the points he mentioned was the fact that in ST if I write: If x then … …. .… End if If x is false, then the block of commands is not being scanned. But in ladder, if I have XIC and then the block of commands, the block is being scanned, even though not executed. His proof was a TON, if X is true, then Timer runs, If X is false, Timer is reseted… that means the Rung is scanned. His main claim in favor of ST, is that scan time is much shorter (not on ControlLogix though) Your opinion will be appreciated
