  1. Hi Everyone, I am using the block MSG_Modbus RTU in a Micro850 Allen Bradley PLC to read data from an OMRON PLC via modbus. The Allen Bradley PLC is the master. As I want to start the block operation I am getting a error code ID55 that says from the manual: "The message timed out in the local processor. A link layer timeout." Is there something to do with the modbus mapping? Can anyone please assist on this issue? Sonia
  2. Thank you very much BobB. As I was about to test, I got an error on the Micro850 AB PLC. The program that must write to the OMRON PLC gives me an errorID 21 on the MSG_MODBUS Block: A local channel configuration parameter error exists. Does anyone know what does this mean?
  3. Hi Everyone, I am currently working on a OMRON CJ2M-33CPU PLC that has a CJ1W-SCU31-V1 serial modbus card. The device is configured as a slave and must communicate to an allen bradley Micro850 PLC (master). On the allen bradley side I got some examples and instructions how to send data (write to the OMRON). I am using MSG_MODBUS block. What do I do in the OMRON side to read data coming from the allen bradley PLC? I have already done the configurations: Modbus RTU slave, baud rate etc. just not very sure how to read data from the ladder programming side of my OMRON. Can anyone assist please? Sonia

  5. Good day All I am using a Micro850 Allen Bradley PLC which must communicate and share data via Ethernet to a OMRON CJ2MCPU32 PLC. I downloaded a Manual (attached to this post) which explains how to establish connection and share data between OMRON CJ2 and another AB PLC. Unfortunately this doesn't work for the Micro850 PLC. I got stuck where I have to edit the Micro850 PLC inserted on the network in the network configurator from Cx-One with the OMRON PLC communication adapter. I installed the EDS file for Micro850 but I am not able to edit in order to create tags. It gives me this error: " setup possible parameters not exist". Can anyone help me on how to sort this out? Your help will really be appreciated. Sonia
