PID Control by using PLC

Did anyone know how to write PID controlling function by using PLC program, or where can download the sample program? I need to use the PID function to make tension control. Thanks.

Most PLCs have built in PID functions. Check the manuals for how the commands operate.

Hi, The instruction differs between the different ranges. Which PLC range are you using? FX2N System Q FX3U?

Great, That helps. Follow this url to download the FX2N manual. Goto 5.9.8 (or page 248 of 468). The PID instruction is there with all of its parameters.
