Can anyone help me? I'm supposed to create an Excel client for an OPC server. The customer has some specific demands and I don't know how to solve them as I don't know much about Visual Basic scripting. I'll try to explain what the client is supposed to do. Column C should contain actual values obtained from an OPC server. Column E should contain values to be sent to the OPC server. A fieldoperator can still change the values, but the Excel file should reflect this in Column F with a timestamp when the change has occured. Of course a button to send the new values to the OPC server would be handy too. There is also a field called "batch", which states how many times these values have to be processed. When the last "batch" is finished, Excel should save the file with following namenotation: dd-mm-yyyy. I've attached a screenshot of the Excel sheet. I know this probably a lot to ask, but I'm terribly stuck here.
