SoftnetDP to SS52

I recently bought a new computer and am trying to communicate to Simadyn-D via a CP5611 card that I installed in the PC and the SS52 card in the rack. The problem is that I want to make the PC the slave and my SS52 the master, but in Comet you are not given this option. It appears that if you use a Softnet DP connection it must be configured as the master. Can anyone help me?
