clock on c200hs

hi, using omron programmer 3.0. if I auto connect I can read and adjust the clock. But the program I've written just say's "failed to access clock" or something like that. Any ideas?

What program? Ladder? VB? Basic? What commands?

if i connect to the plc with "work online" and attempt to connect to the clock via the "project workspace" dialog the responce is "falied to connect to plc clock" . how ever it connects fine using the same process if i use "auto online" first.

OK. I'll take it to the software people. What model C200HS? What port? CPU Port? Peripheral Port? LK201? How long does it take for the error message to appear? Longer or shorter than auto-online?

The only "wierd" thing I'm doing is connecting through a usb to serial converter on com 3 and com4. I can try this process through a regular port but every thing else seems to work great. the plc is a c200hs21. I'm using the processor comm2 port I can see communication between the host and pc. It takes a little longer before getting the error. thanks
