INGEAR and VB.net code help!

I'm VERY new to VB, recently got VB.net and am writing an interface to display PLC data. I am using the INGEAR ActiveX Control, and I have been able to "connect" with the PLC - but I can't figure out how to display the results on screen? Any help for a complete newbie would be greatly appreciated!

The INGEAR ActiveX comes with an example VB program and code. It should be pretty staright forward.
