Real Values

Is it possible to use real values in the mitsubishi registers on the AnS series PLC. By real values I mean 1.76, 2.32 etc. I now its possible in the Q series. Thanks for any response.

AnS supports floating point numbers. They are stored as a 32 bit double word.

I'm not totally sure that the AnS range can actually do Floating Point numbers. Certainly the ANA can do them, but not sure about the AnS. Reason is that if I set up an A1S project in IEC Developer, there's no REAL TO INT functions available, indicating that there is no REAL number capability. I may be wrong on this .......

I mis-spoke. The AnAS and AnUS does support real numbers, the AnS and AnSH do not. The QnAS processors also support floating point.
