CP3 CABLE ON LOGIX 5550

Regarding: the 1747-CP3 communication cable for the SLC processors and the 1756-CP3 communication cable for the ControlLogix processors. These two cables are electrically the same and may be used interchangeably. The difference between the two cables is in the size of the angled head. The head on the ControlLogix cable is smaller - which allows you to close the processor's door while the cable is still connected. Hope this is what you were asking for.
