So I've Got To Ask.....

3 posts in this topic

I've been bouncing around in this forum for a few months and I notice that there are no posts under this section. So it leads me to ask... Are QuickPanels and the newer GE touchscreens such a sweet deal that no one is having any trouble with them or... Aren't any of the engineers in the world using QuickPanels? We recently started using the 7" QuickPanels with built-in Ethernet and I must say I really like them. They are very easy to use and, for the price, have some solid functionality. So what's the story? Keith

I don't know about the others but in my case, customer dictates the hardware. The automotive industry typically have in-house el. departments and standards for control equipment. panic mode

The quick panels are very good. They are the american version of the Digital ProFace panel. They can be interchanged and programmed with either the quick panel software of the ProFace GPPro PBIII software. The Digital panels are usually cheaper than the quick panels and the ProFace software is much more advaced so takes more time to get the full functionality out of it. I think the Quick panels and the ProFace panels or the best on the market right now. Never had any issues.
