STL Statement

If a ladder diagram does [sET S80] to set the S80 statement list, is it required to [RST S80] somewhere in the ladder or will setting S82 within that area automatically reset S80? Thanks

If the SETS are in between the first STL Line and the last RET instruction then using SET will auto reset the state from which it came. If you dont want it to reset the state and perhaps start another STL sequence running concurrently, then you use OUT instead of SET. And by the way STL stands for STepLadder (mitsis own brand of drum sequencing)
